HRA plans are employer-funded medical reimbursement plans. The employer sets aside a specific amount of pre-tax dollars for employees to pay for health care expenses on an annual basis.
A Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) will be offered in 2020 to AURA employees that are enrolled in one of the HMSA plans to help pay for the additional out-of-pocket medical expenses. Medical expenses that are applicable to the health plan’s deductible qualify for reimbursement.
Employees should submit claims for reimbursement to TASC per the submission procedures and will need to ensure that they submit the HMSA Report to Member that shows the amount “of this claim was applied to your annual deductible “with their claim documents.
