2021 Open Enrollment - Mainland (USA)
AURA Human Resources is pleased to announce our annual open enrollment period runs from November 9 to November 20, 2020. Your changes will be effective for the January 1 – December 31, 2021 plan year.
Open Enrollment is a great opportunity to ask and learn about the many benefit plans offered by AURA. It is also your once-a-year opportunity to enroll, re-enroll or change plans. It is important to remind you that decisions made during Open Enrollment are generally binding for the entire year and cannot be changed until next year’s Open Enrollment, unless you experience a qualifying event that allows for benefit changes during the year. If this happens, you MUST notify the AURA Human Resources Department of such a change within 30 days of the qualifying event date.
Get a quick overview via the Highlights Newsletter regarding open enrollment and upcoming changes to benefits for the 2021 plan year. There are some changes this year to some of the benefit offerings, so be sure to carefully review ALL relevant communications.
If you don’t want to make any changes to your current benefit elections, and you do not participate in a Flexible Spending Account (FSA), you DO NOT need to take any action during Open Enrollment. All your current benefit elections will rollover and continue for 2021, except your FSA. FSA elections do NOT rollover. If you want to enroll or re-enroll in a FSA, you MUST TAKE ACTION. To make your 2021 FSA election(s), go to UltiPro > MENU > MYSELF > Open Enrollment > click on the ‘2021 NSF Flexible Spending’ link.
Beginning November 9, 2020, you can enroll, re-enroll, or change plans for the 2021 plan year.
If you want to change elections for Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, etc., you need to take action and complete elections online via UltiPro Employee Self-Service > MENU > MYSELF > Open Enrollment > ‘2021 AURA/NSF Open Enrollment’ link by November 20, 2020. The information will flow electronically to HR, where it will be approved and processed.
The deadline to submit changes is 11:59 pm EST on November 20, 2020.
