2018 Open Enrollment: Arizona/California/Colorado/New Mexico
AURA Human Resources is pleased to announce our annual open enrollment period runs from November 6 - November 22, 2017. Your changes will be effective for the January 1–December 31, 2018, plan year.
Starting November 6, you can enroll, re-enroll, or change plans for 2018.
The deadline to submit changes is November 22, 2017.
Open Enrollment is a great opportunity to ask and learn about the many benefit plans offered by AURA. It is also your once-a-year opportunity to enroll, re-enroll or change plans. It is important to remind you that decisions made during Open Enrollment are generally binding for the entire year and cannot be changed until next year's Open Enrollment, unless you experience a qualifying event that allows for benefit changes during the year. If this happens, you MUST notify the AURA Human Resources Department of such a change within 30 days of the qualifying event date.

Employees will be required to make their Open Enrollment elections online via UltiPro Employee Self-Service > Myself > Open Enrollment. The information will flow electronically to HR, where it will be approved and processed. You may view your current benefits elections in UltiPro at Myself > Benefits > Current Benefits. Beginning November 6th, you can change your elections in UltiPro. If you don't want to make changes, you DO NOT have to take action during Open Enrollment. Your 2017 benefit elections will continue in 2018.
To promote personal health awareness and focus on prevention, AURA is offering Interactive Health (IH) evaluations to employees and spouses on-site in Tucson, Kitt Peak, and Boulder, or request to test at a lab and complete the screening at a contracted LabCorp facility. All eligible employees and spouses who participate will receive an incentive. For detailed information and to review participation incentives, click on ‘Interactive Health Evaluation Info.’ and ‘2018 Wellness Program Incentives’ on the right menu bar.
You get the most from your AURA benefits when you understand how the programs work. Plan to attend an open enrollment meeting where you will receive highlights of how the plans work, upcoming changes, your benefits choices, and the enrollment process. To access the meeting schedule, click here.
